THE CONCEPT OF THE III EURASIAN MINING GEOLOGY FORUM
The following key issues of the integration agenda were highlighted at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on 11 October in Sochi:
● Digital economy development at the meeting “The main directives of digital agenda of the Union till 2025” were approved
● Development of relations of Eurasian Economic Union with other countries and integration institutions:
it was suggested that the observer status of the country should be ratified and a free trade zone should be created faster
● Improvement of the Eurasian Economic Union credit infrastructure:
activation of Eurasian Development Bank and Eurasian Stabilization Fund potential
THE FIRST EURASIAN MINING GEOLOGY FORUM became the first attempt to discuss the issues of integration of raw materials markets of the Eurasian Economic Union member countries involving the authorities and business. As a result the work on the creation of a single for the participating countries infrastructure and legal base in the mining industry started.
THE SECOND EURASIAN MINING GEOLOGY FORUM was held in a new format within the XXI session of the Intergovernmental Council for Subsoil Exploration, Use and Protection in the CIS countries for closer cooperation and coordination of authorities’ decisions and initiatives of mining companies.
According to the current integration processes development in Eurasia the third Eurasian Mining Geology Forum provides a wider list of the participants of the event which includes the representatives from EU, China, Serbia, Vietnam, Iran and India, and the issues of mining industry computerization and its credit infrastructure development.
THE KEY ISSUES FOR THE THIRD EURASIAN MINING GEOLOGY FORUM WILL BE NEW TECHNOLOGY FORESIGHTS AND CHALLENGES OF THE MINING INDUSTRY INTEGRATION AGENDA.
